Job Description
ATS is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join their team in Pontiac, Illinois. ATS, founded in 1985, is a company with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. They are industrial maintenance professionals dedicated to improving factory operations. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for evaluating work requests, developing scopes of work, and ensuring efficient maintenance operations.
Role Involves:
- Evaluating non-emergency work requests and developing scopes of work.
- Estimating labor hours, skillsets, parts, materials, and equipment required for jobs.
- Gathering technical documentation and verifying parts availability.
- Maintaining an organized work order backlog and prioritizing jobs.
- Conducting weekly planning and scheduling meetings with Production.
- Creating a Weekly Technician Schedule.
- Maintaining records and files for analysis and reporting.
- Training site employees on CMMS.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in a technical field with 1-3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience or 5-10 years as a machine repair technician.
- Familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments.
- Electrical/mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships.
