Caylent, a cloud native services company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Accounting & Finance team. This role requires an experienced accountant with a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Responsibilities: - Review and process Vendor Payments & Records
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and reports
- Manage employee expense reimbursements and corporate travel programs
- Maintain Fixed Asset Schedules in accordance with GAAP
- Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare, post and maintain proper records of Journal Entries
- Estimate, analyze, and record month-end expense accruals
- Work closely with FP&A team and provide them with monthly variance analysis reports
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
- Assist with the external audit
- Support annual independent audit and regulatory audits as required
- Assist with preparation of statutory tax returns
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel, Google Sheets or similar, and accounting software
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in General Accounting (Preferred)
- Experience with Certinia (Salesforce) or similar ERP systems (Preferred)
