Caylent, a cloud native services company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Accounting & Finance team. This role requires an experienced accountant with a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.   • Review and process Vendor Payments & Records
  • Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and reports
  • Manage employee expense reimbursements and corporate travel programs
  • Maintain Fixed Asset Schedules in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare, post and maintain proper records of Journal Entries
  • Estimate, analyze, and record month-end expense accruals
  • Work closely with FP&A team and provide them with monthly variance analysis reports
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
  • Assist with the external audit
  • Support annual independent audit and regulatory audits as required
  • Assist with preparation of statutory tax returns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of US GAAP
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel, Google Sheets or similar, and accounting software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in General Accounting (Preferred)
  • Experience with Certinia (Salesforce) or similar ERP systems (Preferred)
