Manager, Collections Strategy & Planning

PhonePe Group is seeking a Manager for Collections Strategy & Planning in Bangalore. This role involves managing the collection strategy team for merchant and consumer lending, requiring a deep understanding of debt collection strategies across various channels and strong analytical skills.

The Manager will be responsible for implementing and monitoring collection strategies, overseeing channel performance, analyzing data, conducting root cause analysis, optimizing strategies, managing vendor performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance, and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and monitoring collection strategies across different loan products.
• Overseeing the performance of various collection channels.
• Analyzing collection performance data and providing regular reports.
• Conducting thorough root cause analysis for missed performance targets.
• Continuously evaluating and refining collection strategies.
• Monitoring vendor performance against agreed-upon KPIs.
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless execution of collection strategies.
• Ensuring all collection activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of collection strategies, processes, and performance metrics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in collections strategy or a related analytical role, preferably in Banking/NBFC.
• Strong understanding of debt collection strategies and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of collection and recovery metrics.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements related to debt collection.
• Experience with merchant lending and consumer lending is a plus.
