PS, Senior Technical Architect, EMEA

Job Description

GitLab is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join its Professional Services team in the EMEA region. This remote role involves working with customers to design, develop, and support GitLab-related projects. The Senior Technical Architect will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to both internal and partner consultants.

Responsibilities:

• Application design, development, and support of GitLab-related Professional Services projects
• Detailed design of GitLab-related projects from inception through production support
• Hands-on implementation and delivery of Professional Services engagements
• Coordination and oversight of functional implementation activities
• Mentoring PS and partner consultants
• Liaising with and supporting other functional groups within GitLab
• Reviewing and providing input to PS training materials and presentations
• Developing case studies, presentations, design documentation, and best-practice methodologies
• Providing support to PS Engagement Managers during the scoping and creation of the customer statement of work (SOW)
• Leading technical discovery sessions with customers, partners, and GitLab PSEs
• Staying up to date on new features and fixes within the monthly GitLab product releases
• Providing deep technical guidance and advice

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communications
• Experience delivering consulting services such as SCM migration, Cloud Architecture, and Developer CI/CD consulting
• Enterprise-level software development experience
• DevOps Platform experience
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology stacks
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
