Job Description
The Pokémon Company International is seeking a Bilingual Project Manager (Japanese/English) to organize, manage, and deliver projects/programs. This role involves acting as a point of contact between stakeholders in Japan and TPCi cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders in Japan to ensure teams are fully informed, tracking project progress, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Bilingual Project Manager will also translate documents, interpret during meetings, document decisions, and contribute to team initiatives.Role involves:
- Assisting in the development of Pokémon TCG and other products/services.
- Coordinating with stakeholders in Japan.
- Tracking project progress using project management tools.
- Translating documents and interpreting during meetings.
- Documenting decisions and action items.
Requirements:
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of related professional experience, including at least four (4) years in a project management or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese (verbal and written communication).
- Proven track record of project coordination skill with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in playing Tabletop games.
- Proven track record of relationship-building skills, negotiation skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Pokémon brand including Pokémon names in both English and Japanese is preferred.
- Familiarity with printing or toy industry is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, dedicated to accuracy, and able to maintain focus under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience with localization projects and cross-cultural awareness.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and ability to organize work effectively.
