Job Description
Legend Biotech is seeking a motivated HR Generalist for a 6-month contract role based in Somerset, NJ. This role will support the Senior HR Business Partner and enhance HR support for the growing employee population. The HR Generalist will be responsible for both transactional and tactical HR support. This role requires 3 days onsite (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) and 2 days remote.
Role Involves:
- Supporting HR programs, including talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, and employee relations.
- Partnering with managers on performance management and development initiatives.
- Coaching managers on leave of absence, payroll, performance issues, and HR inquiries.
- Participating in HR projects, including Workday implementation and Career Ladders.
- Driving the open requisition process.
- Acting as a resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR support role.
- Experience interacting with employees at various levels.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Comfortable working a 6-month contract.
