Job Description
Cresco Labs is seeking a Fertigation Supervisor to oversee the irrigation systems at their Lincoln, IL facility. The Fertigation Supervisor will report to the Director of Cultivation and lead a team to ensure processes, training, schedules, policies, and procedures are followed to achieve production goals. This role is for a weekend shift, Friday to Tuesday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.
The role involves:
- Maintaining crop irrigation and feeding schedules.
- Ensuring fertilizer tanks are filled and recipes are accurately dosed.
- Responding to system alarms and troubleshooting problems.
- Installing, repairing, and troubleshooting irrigation components.
- Maintaining inventory of chemicals, fertilizers, parts, and equipment.
- Monitoring soil moisture content and maintaining sensors.
- Collaborating with Cultivation Departments to ensure irrigation needs are met.
- Supervising and training fertigation team members.
- Developing and implementing SOPs for fertigation tasks.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience with automated fertigation systems (Ridder, Argus, Priva, etc.).
- Irrigation experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of plant cultivation and facility operations.
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with IL Cannabis Regulations.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Ability to work around plant material and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available for on-call support, including weekends and holidays.
