Parallel is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to support school partnerships in California for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish or other languages and passionate about helping children with learning differences thrive.Parallel is committed to empowering students and providing exceptional care. This role involves:
- Conducting SLP evaluations and delivering direct services to children.
- Providing bilingual (Spanish-English) therapy services.
- Translating evaluations, reports, and educational materials.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and IEPs.
- Monitoring each child's progress and adjusting strategies.
- Communicating with parents, staff, and students.
- Completing essential documentation for IEP reports and evaluations.
- Participating in team meetings.
Requirements for this position include:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- At least 1 year of experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting.
- Experience in IEP meetings and case management.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfort with technology and telehealth platforms.
- Availability during school hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday).
