Parallel is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join their provider network in Maryland for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish or other languages and passionate about empowering students with learning differences. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on student success by providing exceptional care and collaborating with a dedicated team.Parallel simplifies administrative tasks, billing, and provides necessary testing materials, allowing SLPs to focus on delivering quality care to students.Role Involves:
  • Conducting comprehensive SLP evaluations.
  • Delivering high-impact direct therapy.
  • Developing and implementing targeted IEP goals.
  • Communicating progress with parents, staff, and students.
  • Participating in team meetings and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Completing essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostics.
Requirements:
  • ASHA Certified SLP (CCC-SLP).
  • At least 1 year of experience delivering IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting (post-CFY).
  • Experience in IEP meetings, case management, and crafting comprehensive educational reports.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Comfortable engaging children from diverse backgrounds and using virtual telehealth platforms.
  • Availability during school hours.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
