Job Description
Parallel is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to support school partnerships in Ohio for the 2025-2026 school year. The Speech-Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in empowering students with learning differences by providing exceptional care and equipping them with the tools they need for success.
Role Involves: - Conducting SLP evaluations and delivering direct services to children.
- Providing bilingual (Spanish-English) therapy services.
- Translating evaluations, reports, and educational materials.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and IEPs.
- Monitoring each child's progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Communicating with parents, staff, and students regarding progress.
- Completing essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Participating in team meetings and working collaboratively.
Requirements: - ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- At least 1 year of experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting.
- Experience in IEP meetings, case management, and completing educational eligibility determinations and comprehensive reports.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfort with technology and virtual telehealth platforms.
- Availability during school hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday).
