Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist - Virginia (25-26 School Year)

Job Description

Parallel is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to support school partnerships in Virginia for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish or other languages and passionate about helping children with learning differences thrive. This role involves conducting evaluations, providing direct services, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and IEPs.Parallel prides itself on simplifying the work for its providers, allowing them to focus on delivering quality care. They offer streamlined scheduling, efficient admin support, smart client matching, comprehensive client information, and handle billing and insurance.Responsibilities:

• Conduct SLP evaluations and deliver direct services to children.
• Provide bilingual therapy services to meet the needs of diverse students and families.
• Translate evaluations, reports, and educational materials as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and IEPs.
• Monitor each child's progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Communicate with parents, staff, and students regarding progress.
• Complete essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Participate in team meetings and work collaboratively.

Requirements:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• At least 1 year of experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting (CFY not included).
• Experience in IEP meetings, case management, and completing educational eligibility determinations and comprehensive reports.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to provide services and communicate effectively in both languages.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfort with technology and virtual telehealth platforms.
• Availability during school hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday).
