Job Description

WellPower is seeking a Mental Health Therapist II to provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral case management services. The therapist will work within a continuum of services designed to improve or maintain clients' abilities to function in the community. The role involves assessing, monitoring, and following up with clients to ensure their basic needs are met as they move toward recovery. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing psychological evaluations and crisis interventions.
  • Conducting individual, group, and/or family therapy.
  • Developing and monitoring treatment plans.
  • Coordinating client's use of WellPower programs and community resources.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with a severe and persistently mentally ill population.
  • Knowledge of psychotherapy methods and community resources.
  • Familiarity with the DSM V and diagnostic techniques.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
