Paralegal (Litigation and Risk)

Job Description

Angi is seeking a Litigation and Risk Paralegal to join their team. This role will primarily focus on investigating and responding to escalated pre-litigation disputes. The position is fully remote and reports to the SVP, Associate General Counsel of Angi.

• Investigating and drafting responses to escalated consumer complaints and regulatory inquiries.
• Drafting, maintaining, and managing templates for escalated dispute letters.
• Developing and maintaining processes and policies for managing escalated disputes.
• Maintaining electronic records of pre-litigation disputes and regulatory matters.
• Assisting with fact investigation to support ongoing litigation and intellectual property issues.
• Preparing and maintaining electronic data for document production in litigation.
• Maintaining electronic records of ongoing litigation within Angi’s matter management system.

• Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years’ experience as paralegal supporting litigation or dispute resolution.
• Working knowledge of state and federal litigation procedure.
• Working knowledge of standard contractual language.
• Prior experience handling litigation matters within a corporate environment and/or at a law firm preferred.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet reporting deadlines with quality, speed and accuracy.
