Job Description
Tenstorrent is seeking a Sr. Engineer, OSPO - Tooling, Platform Software to join their Open Source Programs Office. This role focuses on license compliance, automation, and tooling related to open source projects. The ideal candidate will help maintain policies, automate systems, and ensure SPDX compliance. They will also guide teams through open source review and release processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in license compliance for open source projects
  • Help write and maintain open source policies
  • Automate and script against existing systems and APIs
  • Review compliance with the legal team
  • Ensure SPDX compliance and licensing tracking
  • Guide teams through open source review and release

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Science
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of multiple programming languages and build systems (Rust, C, C++, Python)
  • Interest in AI and low-level hardware interactions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline frameworks
  • Scripting and test automation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiarity with Open Source licenses and community interactions
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Administration
  • Background in Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Enterprise Linux, SuSE)
  • Experience with Podman, Docker, and containerization on Linux
