Job Description

Creditas, a leading financial services platform in Latin America, is seeking a Data Scientist to join its team. The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing data-driven solutions to improve the business using statistics and machine learning.

Role involves:

• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and insights.
• Monitoring and optimizing models for accuracy and efficiency.
• Preparing and cleaning data for use in models.
• Creating visualizations and reports to communicate analysis results.
• Developing models within the Creditas ecosystem.
• Conducting tests and validations to ensure model accuracy.
• Collaborating with engineers, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Monitoring model performance in production.
• Proposing new ideas and solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience in statistical modeling and machine learning.
• Experience in handling large volumes of data.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with data science tools (Git, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• Knowledge of big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Availability for hybrid work in São Paulo.
