Xometry, a company that connects people with manufacturers, is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role focuses on driving new business growth by working with North American manufacturing companies, understanding their needs, and helping them develop strategies to generate new opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a driven hunter with a curious and persistent approach, eager to discover key pain points and create long-term success for businesses.
  • Initiate, identify, prospect, and target new accounts for new logo acquisition.
  • Educate prior customer prospects on new Thomasnet.com solutions.
  • Manage contracts and business relationships to meet or exceed sales quota objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of consultative solution-based selling.
  • Ensure seamless customer transition of new accounts to account management teams.
  • Utilize a database to develop pipelines for new accounts and close new business programs.
  • Research, uncover, and target key decision-makers to initiate the sales process.
  • Communicate proactively with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to document and track customer projects.
  • Resolve prospect inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Provide compelling product demos and close sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced verbal and written English skills.
  • 4 years of experience in a strategic business development role with closing experience (B2B sales preferred).
  • Extensive prospecting experience and a proven track record of success.
  • Self-starter mindset with an inquisitive approach.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Understanding of a CRM and experience with Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting.
  • Understanding of how technology products and services can solve business problems.
  • Coachability and a growth mindset.
  • Ability to build a consistent new business revenue pipeline.
