Platform Engineer

Job Description

Arkose Labs, recognized as a leader in bot detection and mitigation, is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their team. This role is based in Costa Rica and focuses on managing the availability and reliability of Arkose Labs' production systems. The Platform Engineer will collaborate closely with application development teams to enhance observability, scalability, reliability, and latency of the platform.Responsibilities include:

• Improving the OpenTelemetry-based observability stack.
• Identifying and addressing gaps in architecture, services, and tooling to improve reliability.
• Working on tooling, automation, and circuit breakers to adapt to changing attack patterns.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer or back-end engineer.
• Strong experience with AWS or Azure.
• Experience with high volume and high uptime services.
• Experience with Golang or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes and IaC frameworks like Terraform.
• Experience with modern SaaS-based software stacks.
