Trade Support Engineer

Job Description

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking a Trade Support Engineer in Singapore. The candidate will employ their skills to solve complex technical problems, working closely with trading, infrastructure, and software development teams to provide smooth technology support. They will communicate directly with counterparties, exchanges, traders, and developers to resolve issues.

• Work as part of a team to establish best-in-class production support.
• Maintain the health and availability of a world-class trading ecosystem.
• Respond to support requests from traders and software engineers.
• Liaise with external trading partners to resolve technical problems.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure continuity and consistency of support in a 24x7 environment.
• Build documentation for common procedures, troubleshooting scenarios, and system architecture.

• 5+ years of experience in the financial industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field.
• Exposure to VCS, particularly Git/Github.
• Scripting abilities in Python and Bash.
• Comfortable with SQL and Linux command-line.
• Service-oriented mindset.
• Experience with proprietary trading systems and troubleshooting production incidents.
• Experience developing proprietary process automation and monitoring tools.
• Tenacity in solving complex technical problems.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
