Job Description

Anthropic is seeking a Senior Workday Integrations Engineer to join their Business Technology team. This role is crucial for architecting and implementing the technical foundation that connects Anthropic's people systems. The Senior Workday Integrations Engineer will build robust, scalable integrations that enable seamless data flow between Workday and the company's diverse technology ecosystem. The role directly impacts Anthropic's ability to scale efficiently while maintaining an exceptional employee experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining complex Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, and custom APIs.
• Building and optimizing real-time and batch integrations between Workday and systems including ATS, identity management, payroll, benefits, and productivity tools.
• Developing custom integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware platforms.
• Architecting integration patterns that support high-volume data processing while maintaining system performance and reliability.
• Implementing error handling, monitoring, and alerting for all integration endpoints.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical integration specifications.
• Establishing and maintaining integration governance standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Troubleshooting complex integration issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Leading technical reviews and providing guidance to junior team members on integration architecture.
• Staying current with Workday platform updates and new integration capabilities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining Workday integrations.
• Deep expertise with Workday Studio, including XSLT transformations, web service connectors, and error handling.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or other object-oriented languages.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and web services protocols including iPaaS tools.
• Proven ability to design and implement high-volume data integrations in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and can debug complex integration workflows.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple integration projects simultaneously.
