Job Description
Zscaler is seeking a Manager, Software Development Engineering - DevOps to join their team in Bangalore. This role involves leading the DevSecOps team and overseeing operations for multiple development teams. The manager will guide a team of engineers, distribute tasks, track progress, and facilitate their success.
Responsibilities:
- Spearheading the development of internal product tools using AI/ML, MLOps and Code LLM functionalities
- Owning the end-to-end process for Open-Source License Governance and Vulnerability assessment in software applications developed by several other teams, using tools like Blackduck or Snyk integrated in the CI pipelines
- Managing the Infrastructure: Responsible for administration & maintenance of source control management systems, such as GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket Nexus, CI/CD systems, Artefact management repositories, test beds etc
- Integrating SAST, DAST or IaC, tools into the CI / CD pipelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or related field along with 8+ years of hands-on experience in app development, build & release management and setting up CI/CD pipelines
- 2 years of Team Lead experience managing various tools required in the software lifecycle, Scripting in shell, Python, Groovy or Programming knowledge on Java / C /C++ with Unix / Linux systems expertise
- Experience in domains like Application Security, API Security, DevSecOps , Devops and AI/ML is preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams with strong presentation and communication skills
- Good understanding of the principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management (SCM) in Agile, scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience writing and developing yaml based CI/CD Pipelines using GitLab, GitHub and knowledge of build tools like makefiles/gradle/npm/maven etc
- Experience with Networking, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Web Security
- Experience with AI and ML tools in day to day DevSecOps activities
