Job Description
Zscaler is seeking a Senior Staff, Information Security Engineer to join their cybersecurity team. This hybrid role, reporting to the Director of Security Strategy, Transformation & Vendor Risk Management, will be based in Escazu, Costa Rica, requiring 3 days a week in the office. The role involves:
- Defining security requirements and collaborating across departments.
- Developing project charters and performing testing/data analysis.
- Guiding and project managing the selection and implementation of security technologies and tools.
- Driving continuous improvement by optimizing processes.
- Creating and maintaining security policies, standards, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT roles.
- Expertise in leading improvement initiatives in cybersecurity or technology.
- Experience in collaborating and communicating with stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and security best practices for SaaS and public cloud.
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.
- Certifications in Cybersecurity Management, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
