Job Description
The Area Vice President, New Business (AVP) role at IANS is responsible for leading a team of sales managers and representatives to achieve ARR goals. The AVP will drive revenue growth, develop and implement selling strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Client Services, and Consulting. This position reports to the SVP, Sales.IANS is looking for someone who possesses skills and work ethic aligned with their company values of grit, results, initiative, passion, positivity, teamwork, and curiosity.
Role involves: - Strategic portfolio planning, opportunity & risk identification, and execution to achieve goals
- Day-to-day operational portfolio management and analysis
- Budgeting for assigned business area
- Hire, develop, and coach a high performing team
- Own the team culture
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
Requirements: - 13+ years of sales leadership experience
- A track-record exceeding goals to drive new business growth
- Strong competency in managing/coaching, strategic thinking & problem solving, and external networking
- Executive Presence – a trusted leader who demonstrates high level of self-confidence, assertive communication, focus, and stays calm under pressure
- Negotiation skills
- Change Management skills
