Job Description
Rush Street Interactive is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data marts and tables for internal analytical and data science use cases. This role supports data-driven decision-making and involves close collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in data warehousing, SQL, data architecture, and ETL processes, along with general knowledge of BI tools.
Role involves:
- Leading the design of data models to support users across RSI.
- Developing and maintaining game performance, player behavior, and business health KPIs.
- Working closely with operations, marketing, finance, and product teams.
- Developing scripts to automate data processing, reporting, and alerts.
- Collaborating with data engineers to improve data pipelines and query performance.
- Partnering with various teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Enforcing best practices for data accuracy and consistency.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in BI development, analytics, or data engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, market research, and data modeling.
- 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
- 4+ years of experience with business intelligence tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
- Experience using data warehousing tools like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift.
- Familiarity with gaming metrics.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
