Job Description
Gong is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to lead its corporate legal function. This role will be responsible for a wide range of corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, entity management, and securities compliance. The Corporate Lawyer will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure strong governance frameworks, regulatory readiness, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to help shape Gong’s legal infrastructure for scale and long-term success.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing corporate governance matters.
- Managing domestic and international subsidiary governance.
- Collaborating with Finance, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders on disclosure and regulatory issues.
- Providing strategic support on corporate transactions and other legal initiatives.
- Advising on securities law compliance and leading preparation of periodic SEC and stock exchange filings.
Requirements include:
- JD degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 4-7+ years of relevant experience at a top law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Deep familiarity with SEC regulations, exchange listing standards, and public company governance practices.
- Exceptional judgment and communication skills.
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
