Job Description
Gong is seeking an In-House Counsel to join its legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting legal issues driven by technological innovations. The In-House Counsel will be an integral part of a small, exemplary legal team, tackling challenging projects and collaborating with Gongsters across the company. They will proactively assess legal risks and advise on products, contributing to the advancement of information law.
Role Involves:
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements with large enterprise and strategic customers.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating SaaS, license, custom development, intellectual property agreements, and platform services agreements.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes for strategic customer agreements.
- Providing legal advice to teams such as Sales, Engineering, Product, Marketing, HR, and Communications located in US, Ireland, and Israel.
- Advising business clients, as well as Finance and other stakeholders, on legal issues and risks, approval processes, company policies and procedures, IP and business strategy.
- Managing agreements that comply with company policies and risk tolerance.
Requirements:
- JD degree.
- 3 to 6+ years of attorney work experience in commercial contracts, intellectual property matters, business development, and technology transactions, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience with technology companies.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in at least one U.S. state, preferably California.
