Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their Hospitality Sales team in Sydney. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for the sales department. The Business Development Representative will be the first point of contact for potential customers.
Lightspeed's Outbound team is expanding, and they are looking for someone who loves selling, delighting customers, and has an interest in technology.
What this role involves:
- Prospecting and identifying new business through telephone, email, and in-person communication.
- Engaging and qualifying new leads through various channels (phone, email, text, social media, etc.).
- Cooperating with the Account Executive team and booking demonstrations for prospective customers.
- Collaborating with the Marketing/Sales team to develop new strategies for growth.
- Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
Requirements:
- Experience in a sales or call center environment.
- Experience working in a target-based environment.
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Tech-savvy.
- An entrepreneurial and agile mindset.
- Experience with Retail/Hospitality point-of-sale systems or Technology is a bonus.
