Job Description

Sterlington, an international law firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support complex and high-profile cases. The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, providing high-level support throughout all stages of trial preparation and execution. This is a remote position.

The role involves:

  • Assisting attorneys in the full lifecycle of litigation matters.
  • Organizing and managing large volumes of case materials.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis.
  • Drafting and editing correspondence, pleadings, and case materials.
  • Working closely with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
  • Providing logistical and organizational support during trials.
  • Overseeing filing systems and databases.
  • Coordinating with attorneys and stakeholders to meet critical case deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in paralegal studies (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting large-scale litigation trials.
  • Proven ability to support high-stakes litigation matters.
  • Experience with Westlaw, LexisNexis, electronic court filing systems (CM/ECF), Microsoft 365, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong knowledge of legal research tools and litigation support software.
  • Excellent drafting and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
