Job Description
Sterlington, an international law firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support complex and high-profile cases. The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, providing high-level support throughout all stages of trial preparation and execution. This is a remote position.
The role involves:
- Assisting attorneys in the full lifecycle of litigation matters.
- Organizing and managing large volumes of case materials.
- Conducting legal research and analysis.
- Drafting and editing correspondence, pleadings, and case materials.
- Working closely with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Providing logistical and organizational support during trials.
- Overseeing filing systems and databases.
- Coordinating with attorneys and stakeholders to meet critical case deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in paralegal studies (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting large-scale litigation trials.
- Proven ability to support high-stakes litigation matters.
- Experience with Westlaw, LexisNexis, electronic court filing systems (CM/ECF), Microsoft 365, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools and litigation support software.
- Excellent drafting and organizational skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
