Job Description
Tailscale is seeking a Product Engineer to join their Billing engineering team. The Product Engineer will contribute to the development of the Tailscale product, focusing on client code and backend services, and strengthen the end-to-end billing experience. They will lead projects related to pricing plans and billing, taking ownership of the entire product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to shape features.
Role involves:
- Developing the Tailscale product
- Developing billing integration with third-party services
- Leading projects related to pricing plans and billing
- Taking ownership of the entire product lifecycle
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers and product managers
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Golang
- Experience with billing systems including Stripe integrations
- Experience with backend and client development
- User-focused design and problem-solving abilities
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to give and process constructive feedback
- Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a startup
