Technical Product Trainer

Job Description

Acquia is seeking a Technical Product Trainer to deliver curriculum and insights related to its products and solutions to internal teams and partners. The Technical Product Trainer will become a subject matter expert and evangelist of Acquia’s solutions, helping the sales organization master the tools Acquia offers to its customers. This role involves providing virtual training, collaborating with other Acquians, communicating new product releases, developing training plans, and assisting with end-user resources.

In this role, the Technical Product Trainer will:

• Develop, facilitate, and execute a multi-tiered product enablement strategy.
• Design and develop creative training solutions, including instructor-led courses and e-learning modules.
• Deliver training to new hires and certify reps for successful interactions with buyers.
• Create and manage a curriculum of product skills certifications.
• Develop and maintain product training assets for sales onboarding programs.
• Refine existing training curriculum in alignment with evolving business priorities.
• Create and refine a data-driven framework to evaluate the success of training programs.
• Support global reinforcement of enablement initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Product Marketing, and Marketing teams to manage product releases.
• Project manage and/or create product-related enablement assets.

Requirements for this role include:

• A Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in sales, sales training, product marketing, or sales engineering/solutions consulting.
• Ability to transfer skills and knowledge to groups and individuals.
• Development experience with the open-source CMS Drupal is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in training, influencing others, and delivering presentations.
• Ability to articulate complex technical subjects into easy-to-understand concepts.
• Refined training facilitation skills and expertise.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong meeting management and group facilitation skills.
• High competency in collaboration, communication, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools, Learning Management Systems, and Salesforce is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in Enablement, Coaching, or Team leadership is a plus.
