Job Description
ShipMonk, a leading 3PL provider, is seeking an Operations Manager to join their rapidly expanding fulfillment network. This role is based in Fort Worth, Texas. The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a team of leaders, fostering their growth and improvement. They will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Role Involves:
- Leading and developing a team of 3-7 front-line Supervisors and 50-200+ hourly associates.
- Acting as the primary information source for the team.
- Creating and maintaining quality control policies.
- Leading process improvement initiatives.
- Building and delivering productivity plans.
- Reviewing and actioning performance data.
- Partnering with other managers to share best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
- 2-3 years previous supervisory experience required.
- 1-2 years management experience preferred.
- Operational experience and knowledge across two or more functional areas.
- Ability to manage, motivate, direct, lead, train and develop other leaders and team members.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed target goals and objectives.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
