Job Description
IMC is seeking a Trading Engineer to join its strategy development team in Chicago. The successful candidate will provide technical support to traders and developers, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of trading operations.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for proprietary trading applications.
- Communicate incident status and resolutions to users.
- Monitor trading system performance and implement solutions.
- Develop automation tools and scripts.
- Perform in-depth analysis on complex systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new features.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
- 3+ years of experience in application support or site reliability engineering.
- Experience in a production Kubernetes environment.
- Proficiency with Python and Bash.
- Familiarity with observability tools, databases, and Linux distributions is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
