Product Operations Manager

Job Description

Smartly is seeking a Product Operations Manager in Helsinki to enhance the Product Management function. This role involves leading and scaling product teams, defining operating models, and driving product strategy execution. The Product Operations Manager will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, and Customer Success leadership to optimize the global product organization's operations.Smartly is committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and heard. • Designing and implementing the product operating model.
• Mentoring and coaching Product Managers.
• Leading initiative intake and prioritization.
• Operationalizing product OKRs.
• Building data-driven insights and analytics frameworks.
• Designing scalable feedback loops for customer input.
• Owning the product tooling landscape (Jira, Confluence, Productboard, etc.).
• Leading the Product Council.
• Managing Product Operations forums.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a senior PM or Head of Product in a scaled product organization (>100 people in Product & Engineering).
• Deep understanding of high-performing product organizations.
• Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and product leaders.
• Strong knowledge of product development methodologies and agile ways of working.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to drive clarity from ambiguity.
• Experience driving complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Expert-level experience with product tooling (Jira, Confluence, Productboard, Looker, etc.).
• Focus on continuous improvement and outcome delivery.
• Ability to work from the Helsinki office at least three days per week.
