Job Description
Snyk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Bucharest. This role involves shaping Snyk's technology by building foundational infrastructure at scale and ensuring its consistent use. The Senior Software Engineer will analyze, design, and implement high-quality solutions, focusing on robust testing and sustainability. They will also support customers by resolving bugs and escalations, design solutions requiring multiple engineers, and mentor junior engineers.

Role involves:
  • Analyzing, designing, and implementing high-quality solutions.
  • Building scalable systems with good design and robust testing.

Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of commercial experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Experience in large-scale software systems design.
  • Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience in building microservice back-ends, web UIs, or infrastructure automation.
  • Demonstrable skill in effective software testing.
  • Strong commitment to code quality.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and have a growth mindset.
