Fortra is seeking a Senior Support Analyst to provide remote technical support for their IBM i Halcyon Brand. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing system analysis, and collaborating with internal teams. The Senior Support Analyst will also be involved in pre-sales and services activities, including conducting discovery meetings, delivering demonstrations, and implementing software solutions.
What Role Involves:
Conducting in-depth analysis of complex issues with Fortra’s Halcyon solution.
Serving as a trusted advisor to high-priority customers.
Setting up and troubleshooting advanced test environments.
Collaborating with sales representatives on pre-sales activities.
Delivering software implementation and training projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4+ years of experience in technical support or system analysis.
Strong understanding of system configurations and software troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
2+ years of Fortra’s Halcyon suite experience.
IBM i platform experience including CL programming, security, Save/Restore experience, BRMS, and DB2 SQL.
