Motion Designer

Job Description

Landor is seeking a talented Motion Designer to join their Mumbai studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and animating motion assets across various platforms, translating brand strategy and visual identity into compelling motion systems and stories. This role involves collaborating with designers, strategists, and technologists to evolve ideas from static to dynamic, and participating in internal reviews to shape a shared creative vision. Landor is part of WPP group.

What this role involves:
• Designing and animating motion assets for various platforms
• Developing storyboards, prototypes, and final animation deliverables
• Executing basic video editing and sound design
• Packaging and delivering motion guidelines, toolkits, and templates to clients
• Collaborating with designers, strategists, and technologists
• Translating brand strategy into compelling motion systems

Requirements:
• Multiple years of experience in motion design, animation, or visual storytelling (agency preferred)
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand-related motion work
• Understanding of animation principles, transitions, easing, and timing
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
• Experience animating identity systems and visual language for brands
