Software Engineer, Fullstack (India)

Job Description

Glean is seeking a creative and experienced Fullstack Software Engineer to contribute to their mission of making knowledge work faster and more humane. The Software Engineer will be responsible for owning and launching user-facing features from inception to implementation, experimentation, launch, and continuous iteration. This role requires collaboration with product designers and fellow engineers to build best-in-class experiences.

What this role involves:

• Building user interfaces with Typescript and React.js
• Architecting and implementing RESTful APIs in Go, Java and/or Python
• Writing robust, maintainable code across the stack
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Mentoring junior engineers or learning from seasoned ones

Requirements:

• B.Tech / B.E in computer science, or related degree
• 5+ years of experience with React.js / Typescript app or full stack web application
• 2+ years of experience building and shipping scalable back-end systems
• Passionate about using open web technologies (HTML5/CSS/JS)
• Skilled in designing and maintaining distributed systems and CRUD services
• Comfortable in TypeScript, or JavaScript and type-curious
• Comfortable or interested in mastering Golang, and/or Java for backend services
• A proactive and positive attitude
