Solutions Engineer

Job Description

Glean is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their GTM organization in Japan. This role involves being a trusted technical advisor to the local sales team, partners, and customers, guiding them in their Generative AI journeys. The Solutions Engineer will work with various platforms, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.Responsibilities:

• Performing interactive demonstrations of the Glean platform.
• Educating technical teams on the architecture of the Glean platform.
• Scoping and executing pilot and Proof of Value (PoV) exercises.
• Educating and training customers and partners on the product.
• Presenting at company-sponsored events.
• Liaising with product managers and engineers to investigate issues and raise feature requests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in layman’s terms.
• Comfortable presenting virtually and in-person.
• Strong understanding of SaaS tools like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Slack.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Familiarity with identity services and Single Sign-On (SSO) providers.
• Familiarity with APIs and security concepts.
