Nothing is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join their direct to consumer (DTC) Platform Team in London. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative e-commerce features for Nothing's website. This role involves close collaboration with a small, dynamic team to enhance the platform and push the boundaries of web technology.

The Senior Front End Engineer will leverage the latest technologies to build transformative experiences for Nothing's e-commerce website. He will drive new features from prototype to production by collaborating closely with designers and other engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Build transformative experiences for our e-commerce website
  • Enhance the user experience and streamline the purchasing process
  • Integrate AI-driven features
  • Develop tools for other teams to manage localization more efficiently
  • Optimise our website’s response time
  • Monitor the impact on users interactions with the website to identify website to identify friction points
  • Drive new features from prototype to production
  • Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
  • Ensure the scalability and security of the platform

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related field
  • Experience as a Senior Front End Engineer in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies like React, Angular, Node.js, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and a strong eye for design and UX
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Understanding of web security and scalability best practices
