Job Description
SimpliSafe is seeking a Senior Product Manager - AI & Machine Learning to lead critical AI initiatives. This role involves defining and delivering new product service experiences, leveraging a deep understanding of technology, business, and customer needs. The Senior Product Manager will operate independently, navigate ambiguous problems, and identify new opportunities. They will also stay updated with the latest developments in AI, especially generative AI and foundational models.
Responsibilities include:
- Defining and articulating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI and machine learning products.
- Leading the end-to-end AI product development lifecycle.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the development and launch of high-quality AI products.
- Prioritizing features and functionality based on customer feedback, market opportunities, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of AI products.
- Developing and implementing testing strategies that involve customers early in the development process.
- Explaining the entire architecture of AI products to customers and stakeholders.
- Ensuring the ethical and responsible use of AI.
- Understanding data dependencies and collaborating across teams to access necessary data for AI solutions.
- Establishing robust feedback loops to analyze and retrain models, and prioritize which feedback to incorporate.
Requirements include:
- 8+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on AI and machine learning products.
- Strong technical background and understanding of machine learning algorithms, AI techniques, and data science principles.
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing complex, innovative AI products.
- Experience with building and testing AI-powered apps or features using various computer vision models in the cloud and edge.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve efficiency and automate tasks.
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
