Quality Control Coordinator II

Job Description

iHerb is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator II to provide administrative and laboratory support for House Brand products. This role involves incoming sample management and product release, compiling and trending data, and assisting in quality investigations. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control and a strong attention to detail.Responsibilities:

• Verify and manage incoming products, ensuring proper storage and quarantine.
• Reconcile received products against specifications and maintain product documentation.
• Collect and prepare samples for testing, monitoring and reviewing lab results.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, assisting with HOLD/Quarantine procedures.
• Report on quality trends, facilitate communication between departments, and assist with customer inquiries.
• Create and revise technical documents and SOPs, supporting quality systems.
• Train employees and maintain calibration of test equipment.

Requirements:

• Pays attention to detail.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Mathematical Skills, Basic Arithmetic, count, add and subtract.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining productive at all times.
• Generally, 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in Quality Control and/or Assurance or a related role.
• BS/BA degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or Food Science preferred. Or High School Diploma with a combination of education, training, and equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Basic Use of Spreadsheet).
