Job Description
Babylist is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Fulfillment and Operations team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with HighJump/Koerber/Infios Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and will be responsible for modernizing and internalizing the company's warehouse technology stack. This role is crucial for optimizing Babylist's fulfillment operations.
Role involves:
- Serving as the internal subject matter expert for the HighJump/Koerber WMS.
- Designing, implementing, and deploying solutions to improve fulfillment center efficiency.
- Translating real-world fulfillment center challenges into technical requirements.
- Collaborating with the Technical Product Manager to build solutions for business-critical operational problems.
- Providing thought leadership around process, tooling, systems, and software architecture.
- Improving and helping maintain existing systems.
- Mentoring other team members.
- Identifying opportunities for new product initiatives.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience delivering end-to-end solutions that drive business growth.
- Extensive experience in SQL and at least one other programming language.
- Experience with HighJump/Koerber WMS.
- Growth mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work independently.
