Job Description
Zscaler is seeking an Employee Engagement Manager to design and scale high-impact people programs. The Employee Engagement Manager will report to the Senior Director, Employee Engagement and will be based in San Jose, CA (going into the office Tuesday-Thursday).
Role involves:
- Building cross-functional and globally aligned people programs (e.g., retention, performance, talent development, engagement)
- Translating strategic goals into operational plans with clear ownership, milestones, and outcomes
- Building scalable systems and processes that balance efficiency with a human-centered approach
- Driving initiatives that strengthen accountability, team effectiveness, and cultural cohesion across distributed teams
- Collaborating with senior leaders to influence and implement people strategies that enable growth and resilience
Requirements:
- 6+ years in HR, people operations, or organizational development roles, preferably in high-growth or evolving organizations
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs from concept to execution
- Strong operational acumen with the ability to bring structure to dynamic environments
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Values-driven leader with a track record of fostering inclusion, alignment, and continuous improvement
- Ability to go from strategic to operational, bringing energy to both high-level vision and detail execution.
