UX Engineer (remote)

Job Description

Appfire is seeking a skilled UX Engineer to join its Design Systems team. This role involves bridging the gap between design and engineering to develop and maintain scalable design systems. The UX Engineer will work remotely from anywhere in Spain and collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to enhance design and front-end workflows.

Role Involves:

• Creating reusable React components.
• Managing Figma libraries.
• Ensuring cohesive user experiences across products.
• Developing accessible and inclusive front-end design patterns.
• Translating design decisions into CSS.
• Communicating design concepts within developer communities.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in front-end development and design systems.
• Experience leading high-impact design system initiatives.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Figma.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
