Sotheby's is seeking a Finance Manager to support its global Operations, Real Estate, and Product & Tech divisions. The Finance Manager will partner with department heads on budget management, provide analytical support for strategy management, and oversee a team responsible for accounting and FP&A.
Responsibilities include:
Managing divisional budgets, ensuring accurate monthly accounting and forecasting.
Partnering with division heads and finance directors to manage P&L budgets.
Preparing annual financial plans in conjunction with stakeholders.
Ensuring processes are in place for effective expenditure management.
Supporting division heads in strategy development through analysis and modeling.
Communicating financial performance and key performance indicators.
Participating in global audits and providing ad hoc analysis for leadership.
Managing Finance Analysts and creating opportunities for professional growth.
Ideal candidate should possess:
8 years of experience.
CPA or Chartered Accountant certification.
Experience in lease and fixed asset accounting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven team management skills.
Excellent computer skills, including Excel.
Experience with SAP (a plus).
Some knowledge of Sotheby’s or the art industry (beneficial).
Sotheby's offers:
A proposed base salary ranging from $100,000-$130,000.
