Product Operations & Strategy - 6 months internship or Apprenticeship

Alma is a company that is reinventing finance to serve merchants and consumers. Alma's instalment and deferred payment solutions help merchants boost sales, increase customer loyalty and deliver a seamless shopping experience. The Product Operations function serves as the backbone of product development and strategy execution. Alma optimizes the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire product lifecycle by fostering cross-functional collaboration, streamlining processes, and leveraging data-driven insights.

The Product Operations Intern will play a supportive role in improving product processes and ensuring seamless coordination across various teams. This internship will provide insight into product, operations management, and cross-functional collaboration, while offering the opportunity to develop analytics and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Product Operations manager in refining and improving internal product processes.
• Help maintain and implement tools and systems designed to streamline product operations.
• Collect and analyze internal data and user feedback to assist in identifying areas for product improvement.
• Coordinate Product & Engineering team rituals aimed at enhancing team cohesion and knowledge sharing.
• Provide support on strategic projects driven by the Product Operations team that enhance product efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Available for 6 months internship or 1y apprenticeship starting from July/August or September 2025.
• Strong project management attitude and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of data analysis and comfort with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well across diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proactive, with a hands-on approach and a willingness to take initiative in identifying challenges and driving improvements.
• Demonstrated interest in Tech products and Start-up/Scale-up environments.
• Team player with a collaborative and positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Languages: Native French speaker and fluent in English.
