Job Description

Isaac is seeking a Software Engineer II - Back end to join their team. Isaac is the largest financial solutions platform for schools in Brazil. The company empowers institutions by offering guaranteed revenue and providing more payment flexibility for families. Isaac aims to facilitate financial management, eliminating headaches and allowing schools to focus on their educational mission.

The Software Engineer II will be part of a team focused on safeguarding sensitive client data and maintaining access management structures within Isaac's systems. This role is platform-centric, providing functionalities to ensure data security while accelerating new company initiatives.

The position is remote and requires expertise in backend development, particularly with Golang.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing high-impact projects for clients and Isaac.
  • Translating functional and technical requirements into architecture and design.
  • Assisting the team with development best practices, design patterns, testing, and code review.
  • Encouraging good documentation practices.
  • Collaborating effectively in a team environment.
  • Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and data-driven development.

Requirements:

  • Experience in software development or equivalent technical capability.
  • Knowledge of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
  • Experience developing web APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures in a programming language.
  • Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD practices.
