Job Description
Lush is seeking an Assistant Manager for their Tyson Center location. This role involves supporting the Shop Manager in various business areas, ensuring a strong customer experience, staff experience, and operational excellence, and exceeding sales goals. The Assistant Manager embodies Lush's Leadership Practices in all interactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure a unique and inclusive customer experience.
  • Educate customers and staff on brand values.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and understanding of metrics, budgets, and reports.
  • Support the team on the sales floor, answer questions, and motivate them to meet their sales goals.
  • Support staffing, recruitment, hiring, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with the Manager on plans to improve staff engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Ensure the shop complies with company standards for opening and closing, product integrity, and health and safety.
  • Support the training of the inventory team and manage ordering within budget.
  • Follow merchandising and design standards.
  • Ensure the right number of staff are scheduled at peak times.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of managing or supervising in a retail environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
