Job Description
Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering projects related to processing/packaging. This role involves working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project strategies, manage risks, and ensure project requirements are met. The Project Engineer will collaborate with external engineering firms, develop project documentation, and participate in technical reviews. This position is 100% onsite at the Bloomington, Indiana facility.
The role involves:
- Leading teams in defining project strategies and goals.
- Ensuring effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
- Identifying and managing project risks.
- Tracking team deliverables for project completion.
- Developing project URS, RFQs, and other documentation.
- Collaborating with multifunction teams to develop project Capital Expenditure Requests.
- Assisting with project IQOQ & PQ activities.
- Participating in training site stakeholders.
Requirements:
- BS degree in any Engineering field.
- 1+ years of experience in process/packaging engineering in the pharmaceutical industry (level hired for depends on years of experience)
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn how to use enterprise software.
- Preferred experience in working in an aseptic manufacturing plant (processing and/or packaging).
