Job Description
Supra is seeking a Blockchain Node Engineer to focus on monitoring its blockchain infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the performance, stability, and reliability of Supra's network, which includes both blockchain and ecosystem applications. The ideal candidate will maintain and optimize node health, set up alerting mechanisms, respond to alerts, and build observability dashboards.Supra is a remote-first company based in Switzerland, dedicated to solving the Oracle Dilemma through innovative solutions in consensus mechanisms, real-time data services, DeFi, and L1 technologies.Responsibilities:- Maintain, monitor, and optimize the health and sync status of nodes.
- Set up and maintain alerting mechanisms using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Datadog, and Opentelemetry.
- Respond to alerts and investigate issues such as node crashes and sync lags.
- Build and maintain node observability dashboards.
- Create lightweight scripts for custom health checks and diagnostics.
- Track network-wide changes that may impact node behavior.
- Maintain detailed runbooks and incident logs.
- Experience in system monitoring, infrastructure ops, or blockchain reliability.
- Familiarity with popular chains' nodes and their requirements.
- Understanding of consensus-layer and execution-layer health indicators.
- Experience with monitoring/alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Datadog, Opentelemetry.
- Experience analyzing logs and metrics from containerized environments.
- Ability to innovate and create scripts to automate checks and diagnostics.
- Pro-active communication and collaboration abilities with native-level proficiency in written and oral English.
