Job Description
Halcyon, a dedicated adaptive security platform, is seeking a Director of Public Relations & Thought Leadership. This role involves leading external communications and enhancing the company's presence in the anti-ransomware market. The Director will manage the PR agency relationship, drive media coverage, and develop thought leadership content.

Role Involves:
  • Managing the PR agency and ensuring alignment on strategy and deliverables.
  • Building relationships with tech, business, and cybersecurity journalists.
  • Developing thought leadership content and executive visibility strategies.
  • Tracking PR performance metrics and providing regular reports.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Requirements:
  • 8–10+ years of experience in public relations or communications.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity or enterprise B2B tech.
  • Proven success in securing media coverage in top-tier outlets.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and editorial skills.
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape.
  • Experience managing PR around security incidents.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, PR, or related field.
